With a view to the unchanged challenges the Corona pandemic the VDDI board, the Gesellschaft zur Förderung der DentalIndustrie mbH (GFDI) (the commercial enterprise of the VDDI) and Koelnmesse have decided to postpone IDS.

We spoke to Mr Thomas Hack, Managing Partner at INFINIDENT Solutions GmbH, about the advantages and possible uses of digital metal laser sintering (DMLS) for non-precious metal frames for dental laboratories and practice labs.

The reduction of the value added tax for six months is a central measure from the Corona package with which the German government wants to cushion the economic consequences of the pandemic.
The situation around the corona virus (SARS-COV-2) is developing rapidly and can only be stopped together. We are aware of our social responsibility to jointly prevent the rapid spread of the virus and to implement all measures and orders.
As one of the pioneers in laser sintering processes, INFINIDENT has been successfully offering manufactured CAD partial dentures since 2015. With Ultaire® AKP, INFINIDENT has now expanded its range of removable dentures with an innovative material.
INFINIDENT Solutions will in future cooperate with Elos Medtech to provide the Elos Accurate® Analog for Printed Models, the Elos Accurate® Analog® Tool and Elos Accurate®® Analog Insertion Screw to dental and practice laboratories in Europe. The products will be available with immediate effect via the web shop of INFINIDENT Solutions.
