Successful black building test in our data center
Dear customers,
we would like to inform you today about a special outage test in our KRITIS-certified data center, which once again demonstrated the high reliability and quality of the hosting infrastructure used there.

At the beginning of December, a so-called black building test was carried out in our data center. In this test, the data center is completely disconnected from the external power supply in order to test the building's autonomous power supply. The aim is to ensure that all systems can continue to operate stably in the event of a complete failure of the external power supply.
Our service provider's data center also has an air refueling system that can be used to fill the power generator with fuel from the air even if the roads and infrastructure are completely destroyed. We have contracts with suppliers that guarantee that diesel fuel can be pumped and, if necessary, delivered by air even if the entire power grid fails.

The hosting cluster we use is designed to meet all the necessary redundancy requirements. This means that the infrastructure is connected to several independent power circuits and complies with all KRITIS standards for reliability. Thanks to these measures, we were able to carry out the test successfully without any interruptions or disruptions to your services - as you can certainly confirm.

We are pleased to inform you that the data center we use and our facility has also confirmed the highest standards of reliability and operational security in this test - further proof that we can trust in the stability of our infrastructure.
In 2024, we outsourced our IT services to a high-availability HA cluster with operation in a Tier3+ high-security data center (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS (TÜV Süd) and KRITIS (BSI TR-03145) certified) based in Germany. The outsourcing also includes monitoring, access protection, camera surveillance, 24/7 on-site security personnel and is equipped with a dedicated line of up to 500 MBit.
We are all the more proud that this mandatory annual test has now “forced” us to certify the function and redundancy.
