infiniDent Services becomes INFINIDENT Solutions GmbH

Darmstadt, March 1, 2018. Following the acquisition of 100 per cent of the dental manufacturing center infiniDent by its management, the independent company will now operate under the name INFINIDENT Solutions GmbH. Dentsply Sirona had sold the CAD-CAM manufacturing center for the European market to the existing management as of March 1, 2018, as part of an asset deal. The company remains at its original headquarters in Darmstadt. Close cooperation with Dentsply Sirona in the field of research and development (CAD / CAM) is an integral part of the planned future collaboration between the two companies. INFINIDENT Solutions GmbH remains a "Preferred Partner" of Dentsply Sirona.

The current and new managing director Thomas Fries comments on the successful takeover: "We are pleased about the re-founding of INFINIDENT Solutions GmbH in order to continue our success story with the existing team. This allows us to use the many years of experience of our centralized manufacturing center since 2004 and continue to offer our existing and new customers fitting solutions of the highest quality. At the same time, the buy-out gives us more flexibility for an even more open connection to various industrial and software partners. This means more flexibility in the choice of materials and even better independent service for our numerous dental technology customers."

The central service provider for dental laboratories INFINIDENT Solutions started in 2004 as a service offering of Dentsply Sirona (then Sirona Dental) and was founded in March 2011 as an independent company. Since then, the company has grown continuously and today produces throughout Europe, especially for the markets in Germany, Scandinavia and Italy.
